Modified polymer blends from Bada for automotive interiors

In automotive interiors, it is particularly important to combine different engineering plastics in individual colors. This is where Bada scores particularly well with its customer-specific solutions. Through close cooperation with its customers, Bada AG has been able to further develop numerous polymer blends and now offers solutions for many areas of application in automotive interiors.

The ABS/PA blend Badalac ABS/PA 110 TM-Z3 was developed especially for components with filigree structures, such as loudspeaker enclosures. It combines the advantages of both blend partners, allowing the production of components with a matt surface, high heat resistance (Vicat B50 >120°C) and very good (low-) impact strength (>80 kJ/m2 at 23°C). The compound’s excellent flowability enables complex, thin-walled structures to be imaged.

The PC/ABS blend Badalac ABS/PC 130 H UV AS is suitable for covers and housings in the area of the headliner.

The combination of PC+ABS enables components with high heat deflection temperature (Vicat B50 >125°C), very good notched impact strength (>40 kJ/m2 at 23°C) and excellent surface quality. The flowability of the material is excellent and the included UV stabilization protects the compound from indoor weathering. A built-in antistatic finish prevents dust and dirt deposits due to electrostatic charging.

All compounds can also be colored in smaller batches according to customer requirements. Benefit here from the many years of expertise of our colorists.
In addition, approvals from renowned (automotive) OEMs underscore the performance and quality of our products.
