Badamid PA12 belongs to the group of partially crystalline thermoplastics based on laurolactam. PA12 is the polyamide with the lowest hygroscipicity. In addition, PA12 stands out for its high impact resistance and its comparatively good chemical resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This results in typical applications like brake and fuel lines; medical engineering and housing technology are further fields of application. Excellent abrasion and sliding properties as well as high weathering resistance perfect PA12\u2019s favourable properties. Thus, PA12 is well suited for bearing and drive units in a humid environment requiring a high degree of dimensional stability and media resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
