High demands are placed on components made from thermoplastics. These requirements are often so specific that they cannot be met by one type of plastic alone. In such cases, the polymer blend concept from Bada AG comes into play.ABS and ASA can be given significantly improved properties by blending them with PC or PA. ABS/PC and ASA/PC blends show increased impact strength and improved heat resistance compared to pure ABS and ASA compounds. Blends with PA give ABS and ASA some of the favourable properties of polyamides, such as matt surfaces and excellent stiffness and heat resistance values.Customer-specific modifications of these blends, for example with fillers, impact modification or individual colouring, even in small batch sizes, are possible on request.
