Badadur PBT-Compounds sind teilkristalline Polyester-Werkstoffe. Sehr gute mechanische Eigenschaften, hohe Wärmeformbeständigkeiten und geringe Wasseraufnahme zeichnet diese Produktgruppe aus .Diese geringe Wasseraufnahme bewirkt die weitgehende Unabhängigkeit der mechanischen und elektrischen Eigenschaften vom Feuchtegehalt bzw. den klimatischen Einsatzbedingungen, was gerade für sicherheitsrelevante Bauteile von großer Bedeutung ist.Badadur PBT ist vielfältig modifizierbar, z.B. durch Verstärkungsstoffe, Schlagzähmodifikatoren oder Flammschutzmittel.
