Badamid PA11 is a high-performance polyamide based on renewable raw materials. Similar to PA12, Badamid PA11 is also used in technical applications with a demanding property profile. Important applications include cable sheathing, pipes, quick connectors and fuel lines. Compared to PA12, which is chemically very similar, Badamid PA11 has higher heat resistance, significantly higher notched impact strength, lower abrasion and slightly higher water absorption.Badamid PA11 is available in a wide range of product variants, including toughened, glass fibre reinforced, flame-retardant and custom-coloured.
