Badamid is a product group of thermoplastic construction materials based on polyamide (PA6, PA66, PA66/6, PA6/6T, PPA, PA9T, PA610, PA612, PA12) with outstanding, versatile properties. In addition to excellent mechanical strength and high thermal resistance, polyamides also exhibit good toughness at low temperatures and favorable friction and wear behavior. Badamid has proven itself for use in a variety of technical areas, such as machine elements, in the electrical, electronics and automotive sectors as well as in construction, furniture and leisure applications. Badamid can be processed using all conventional shaping methods.Extensive modifications according to customer requirements in terms of reinforcement, toughness, processability, fire behavior and color can be realized very well.
